A Trip to Mexico — La Tequila Menu
A simple menu interface with language selection and clear filtering, so customers can explore the restaurant's food and drinks.

I wanted to create a simple and modern online menu for our family restaurant, providing customers with an easy and intuitive way to explore the available food and drinks without needing to rely on a physical menu. The application allows visitors to browse different categories, search and filter dishes, view ingredients and detailed descriptions, check prices, and access general information about the restaurant.
I built the application using Next.js and React, focusing on a clean and responsive interface that works seamlessly across desktop and mobile devices. I implemented reusable components for the menu categories, filtering, and search functionality, while keeping the overall experience lightweight and straightforward.
The menu content is managed through structured JSON data, which makes it easy to update dishes, prices, ingredients, and other information without modifying the application's core components. The data structure also supports multiple translations, allowing the menu to be presented in different languages while maintaining the same underlying content.
The project gave me an opportunity to combine practical frontend development with a real-world use case, focusing on usability, responsive design, component reusability, structured data, and a simple architecture that can easily be maintained and expanded in the future.
